A smarter model

During Christmas 2016, a group of seasoned professionals with extensive experience in the service and digital communication industries came together to share a series of relevant orphan opportunities on innovation in businesses with physical locations.

Leading the group is Christian Meyer, founder of several companies that apply digital communication to the physical world.

The context shows an imbalance in the digital effort of B2C industries, whose investments have been focused on e-Commerce to the detriment of the physical location, which continues to provide the majority of revenues and, therefore, where the real opportunity for significant growth in financial terms is located.

Innovation with relevant contribution to business

The vision aims to compensate for this imbalance by valuing what digital technology can do to further enhance physical location. This value is understood as an independent concept, with full attribution to the physical location P&L, complementing other disciplines with hybrid attributions such as Omnicanality.

Looking at other industries we see how the disruptive and profound application of innovations that the ultra-recent technology is spreading today provides a business advantage. Transport, energy, infrastructure, pharma, mining, automotive, chemical, investment, defense... and in B2C terms also finances, Media, health... are already applying it. It is time to propose paradigm shifts in hospitality, retail, luxury, cross-sector...

The initial challenge lies in replacing old solutions (marked by stagnant growth curves and a classic conceptualization of what is possible) with commercial and financially relevant innovation, successfully applied in other industries.
